I’ve been eating here since I was a kid in 1971, and it still has that same bright, fresh, delicious taste. There’s something about their crazy way of putting the sauce on top—I don’t know what kind of magic it is, but it makes the pizza incredible.
I’ve since moved away, so now it’s a 30-minute drive whenever I want to treat myself. Today was one of those days—and it was absolutely worth it.

Great NYC style pizza in Columbia. I’ve lived next door from this place for years and just discovered their pizza is fantastic. Great wait time. Nice and quiet environment. Definitely a hidden gem in the Cradlerock/owen brown area.

Great value ruined by bad pizza.
Getting slices is always a dicey proposition because you’re just getting warmed up pizza. I can usually do this if the pizza is good and there’s a deal. Two slices with pepperoni and a canned drink for $8 is a nice deal.
The problem is the pizza just isn’t good. The sauce was too sweet. The cheese had zero pull and the pepperoni was low quality. I respect this small business too much to nerf their overall ratings but this was genuinely one of the worst slices of pizza I’ve ever suffered through.

Vennari's is the perfect answer for the best pizza in Maryland .Truly a very satisfying and blissful experience .Perfectly crafted base which is truly crispy yet easy to chew.The sauce had the delicious tang that felt like authentic marinara sauce yet had it's own unique taste .Topped with cheese and moderate amount of toppings .The flavours were tantalising in the air .Each slice melting in the mouth This place is highly suggested for people who love and enjoy the pizza truly .Would visit again and again.
