The doors were locked when we arrived for our scheduled appt. An older man unlocked it for us and talked to us for until 1 out of 2 therapists showed up 30 mins late. The couples massage then turned into a one at a time massage, so we left.

I booked a massage through ClassPass… should have read the reviews first. Arrived for my appointment and the door was locked and no one answered the phone. The building literally looks defunct.

The facility is not a spa. Nothing about it resembled spa and relaxation. It's an outdated building that does not match the pictures online. My husband and i called to schedule a couples massage. When we got there we were told that the director, Janine, could do us back to back bc whoever made our appointment was new and they didn't have 2 technicians. She ended up calling one of the instructors to assist. The room was too bright, the carpet on the floor was old and dingy, and the bedding was old and mismatched. I couldn't enjoy the massage if I tried. It was not relaxing. I've had better at a massage school. Definitely not worth your time or money!

I was not satisfied, their Spa was under renovation& I was given services at their school clinic. However, I was still charged the same price as if I was going to attend the Spa. I feel I was not afforded the Spa treatment
ambience because services rendered was in the same location& room as the student clinic that I frequently.
The Massuese was average & in my opinion wasn’t any better that the students. His services was not worth $135. I am dissatisfied, the massage was very painful& he felt like a beginner if I was to compare him to the other massages I had at that clinic. It wasn’t all bad he stretch me very well& the hot towels were great. However he focused on getting knots out& it hurt very bad. I was vocal on why I there.
I was already in pain & just wanted some relief. He was persistent in removing knots that gave me more pain. Now I need another massage to counteract that massage.
It would be nice if they offer me a free massage in the student clinic. I’ll pass on Spa Central in the future& stick with the student clinic. This was my birthday treat& it was not a great Soa experience at all.😔

Very unprofessional!
My appointment was at 9:00 AM and I arrived 15 minutes early because I knew that I had to fill out a form. Spa Central was still closed even though on the door was a sign that said, “Open Daily 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM”.
For 15 minutes I kept calling on the phone, knocking loudly, and using the intercom. Frustrated, I was about to leave when she arrived at 9:03 AM. All she said was, “I’m sorry.” She looked disheveled, with crumbs on her clothes (pajamas?) and both shoes untied.
This was the director of Spa Central? I chose her because I mistakenly thought I would get the best service for my first massage at Spa Central.
I was so turned off and ready to walk away, but I was afraid that I would be charged the full $100 that I stayed for the massage. I was still feeling frustrated that I was tense during the massage and did not fully enjoy it.
Kudos to those of you who experienced a better service from the director of Spa Central. Unfortunately I was not one of you and I would not recommend her to anyone.
