I frequently visit the shake shack location at 1100 Christopher Pl Bldg. G, Lancaster, PA 17601 and I have a wonderful experience there every time, so iw as very excited when I was taking a drive through maryland and stumbled across another shake shack. I had very high hopes due to loving my home location, and this location just did not keep up the same appeal.. I don't know how to describe it other than everything tasted drier and almost hot held rather than freshly made. The mac and cheese was not creamy like I am used to, and my fries were not very saucy with cheese either
My burgers were falling out of the buns, and my wrappers had sauces smeared all over them
My regular strawberry shake was not fully mixed together, could still see clumps of the vanilla custard
My malted strawberry didnt taste very malt
Both strawberry shakes seemed light on the strawberry
Everything still tasted edible enough to eat, but it certainly didn't live up to the location that I usually visit so I don't think I will be reccomending this location to anyone
The interior, while having a very tall ceilimg, seemed very cramped, particularly in the womens restroom
Server was nice and friendly! Just used to a better location than this one so my experience was a bit disappointing

This was the first time for us to visit this restaurant. It went very well. You just place your order at a kiosk , pay , grab a numbered stand to put on your table. The burgers were good and the shakes, excellent.

The food here is great. While expensive, I am ok paying a premium for consistent food and service than saving a few bucks at other similar establishments with lower quality food and poor service. I was not a fan of the Korean menu (chicken bites, chicken sandwich and burger flavors), but highly recommend the BBQ menu. The BBQ burger and rib sandwiches are delicious. I also enjoyed their Shack burger.

Pretty good smash burger. I had the cheapest version with everything on it. Definitely greasy, but pretty well balanced.

Chance and the rest of the employees ALWAYS go above and beyond! Everyone is so kind and helpful! As soon as I walked inside, I was greeted with hellos and smiles! They all were extremely knowledgable, patient and helpful! and the food here is the BEST!! I’ve had shake shack in NY, DC etc but this Columbia, MD location tastes so much better!! Always fresh and delicious! It’s like much needed home cooking and perfect comfort food…not only the best restaurant but the best shake shack location!! :)
