We have been to several Bonchon locations around the area over the years, including the Columbia location by the mall, and one of the things we enjoy most is that every visit seems to introduce us to a new flavor.
The food is consistently packed with flavor, whether you go for the famous Korean fried chicken, noodles, pork belly bao buns, bulgogi, bibimbap, or one of the many other dishes on the menu. The bulgogi is definitely a must try if you want to experience a more traditional Korean flavor, and the bibimbap is excellent as well.
They also have a surprisingly large selection of flavored sojus, which makes it fun to try something different each time.
At the Columbia location, the staff has always been super friendly, helpful, and happy to explain dishes or make recommendations. The restaurant is also consistently clean and well kept.
It is honestly hard to go wrong with Bonchon. The prices are reasonable, the portions are satisfying, and it is an easy and approachable way to discover Korean flavors right here in the area.

The foods were amazing, but the service needs a lot of improvement. They did not give us any utensil until we asked for that, they forget to make 1 of our order, and take forever to get a box for the leftover. And their dining was full of dirty dishes. They have no clean table when new customer coming.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered 10 boneless and Korean tacos. The tacos were 5/5. The boneless were 0/5. Tough hard boneless wing
If you like Korean chicken the wings at BBQ chicken in Ellicott city so much better. I ate three and gave up here. I was asked if I enjoyed and told waiter no. Still paid full price.

Went here today after our shopping at the Columbia Mall and we are craving for the Korean Fried Chicken and we were not disappointed. The crispness is there and the taste is good. The only thing is that the male staff member who served us looked so sleepy or bored with his work. He was lacking in customer service. The ambience of the restaurant is also nice.

Best was the glass they give for soju and beer measurements.
