Anthony’s NY Pizza & Pasta House was truly a 10/10 dining experience. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive service throughout the meal, everything was exceptional. We started with a Caesar salad and complimentary freshly baked bread with butter, which set the tone perfectly. We ordered the white pizza and the filet mignon, and both were outstanding. The pizza was cooked to perfection—the crust alone was incredible—and the flavor was on point. The wine selection was also excellent and paired well with the meal.
I would highly recommend Anthony’s to anyone looking for high-quality food and great service. I’ll definitely be returning!

This restaurant is hidden in Bowie, Maryland. The food is tasty, service is excellent, and atmosphere is fantastic. Serves pizza by the slice so don't miss out. Would recommend a visit. I am going back again.

3/9/26 I recently visited Anthony’s N.Y. Pizza & Pasta House on Annapolis Road and had a really pleasant experience overall. From the moment you walk in, everyone is welcoming and friendly. The staff has great attitudes, the hostess is attentive, and the atmosphere feels comfortable whether you're dining in or picking up takeout.
They run a great Monday special — a $10 whole pie, which is definitely worth checking out. On top of that, they host fun themed nights, including a really cool trivia night. During trivia, they play songs and you have to guess the singer and answer music questions. It was interactive, entertaining, and added a fun vibe to the night.
I really wanted to love the pizza because my brother said it was the closest thing to New York–style pizza he’s found in Maryland. The pizza looked amazing and truly had that classic New York slice appearance. However, the taste didn’t quite match what I’m used to from New York pizza.
The crust was very thin, which normally I enjoy, but it couldn’t quite hold the amount of cheese on top. When I picked up a slice, much of the cheese slid right off. There was also very little sauce on the pizza itself. While they did provide sauce on the side, true New York slices usually have a generous layer of sauce baked right in.
That said, the pizza was still good — just not quite New York–style in my opinion. I’d definitely return to try other menu items because the service, atmosphere, and entertainment made it an enjoyable visit.
If you're in the area, it's still worth stopping by and trying it for yourself.

Came back a couple days ago to try their pasta options, not bad at all. The portions are great for the price point and the flavor is still punching over their weight class. I tried the lasagna and it was very tasty, the pasta sauce is a bit sweet for my liking but not something that would stop me from ordering again. My wife grabbed the veal parmigiana with angel hair pasta and she was pleasantly impressed. I really look forward to making many more trips over here.

These new renovations are beautiful and elevate the restaurants atmosphere. This place is more than just pizza - it’s fine, quality italian cuisine at an affordable price point. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is made with quality, fresh ingredients and so flavorful. I used to only come for pizza but will definitely be on my go-to restaurant rotations now.
