Today is the second time I have had Arthur complete a project for me. My husband and I bought a few toilets and a sink years ago to replace the original fixtures in our 20+ year old house. He came out yesterday and did a thorough look over of our plumbing and gas lines as well as quoted the amounts to replace 2 toilets and a sink. In a previous visit, he also suggested replacing our backflow valve since we have a sprinkler system and so we wanted to have that done as well. After agreeing on a price (which was reasonable), he scheduled me for today. Both yesterday and today, Arthur was on time. He completed the job in a timely manner. I will absolutely call him again when a plumbing need arises.

Be aware, be careful! North River Plumbing & Gas, LLC.
We had an issue with our toilet downstairs, my husband changed the toilet tank parts, it worked, the leak from the bathroom tank stopped.
But then, the toilet supply line started a very small leak, he went ahead and bought a new water supply connector, but it did not work, it continued leaking.
On Monday, I decided to search online for plumbers, I found this company called: North River Plumbing LLC, located at 1123 MD-3 #305 in Gambrills, we live in Odenton. I called and left a voice message. A man called Arturo or Arthur called me back, and said, shut the water, the water was already shut because we have 2 bathrooms, it was not an emergency, and I let him know it was not an emergency. But he insisted on coming here that night on 6/1/26. On the phone, we asked him how much he was going to charge, he said he did not know because he needed to see the problem. He came here, in 2 min he "fixed", he had the balls to say, all you need to do is to screw 4x more the nut that connects the supply water connector. Wow, that was easy! He ripped us off, shameless crooked contractor, he charged us $350 and had the courage to say he was giving a discount because the price was $400.
6/24/2026 I filled my complaint with MHIC, and with BBB, this scammer will get what he deserves, I am also including this same review in other sources, people will know what he did to us.

Arthur was great. Answered his phone personally and was able to schedule me same day. In addition to fixing my toilet, he provided a comprehensive evaluation of all of our other household plumbing fixtures/equipment. Very thorough and a pleasure to work with.

This is our second service call with this plumber. He was so helpful the first time so we called him again. We had a broken water pipe under our deck. Plumber explained that leak was from water freezing in pipe. He showed us the crack, saying that despite turning off the water for winter, water remained in the pipe and froze. He replaced our pipe and made it so water drains completely out the pipe when turned off.
His bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Have you called a “local” plumber to find out that you’re really dealing with a large impersonal franchise? North River is a local guy who does the work himself. Many years of experience, Arthur really knows his stuff, and he’s a genuinely nice guy. He turned my Frankenstein plumbing into a professional job. Cannot recommend North River highly enough
