Update:
If you’re craving the delicious aromas and flavors of Indian spices, Curry and Kabob is a great place to satisfy that craving.
I first visited about a month ago and enjoyed my meal so much that I decided to return and try their all-you-can-eat buffet, which is offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The buffet is not overwhelming with endless dishes that you could never possibly sample. Instead, it offers a thoughtfully selected variety of items that come together to create a complete and satisfying meal.
The selections included fresh salad options, bite-sized appetizers, several main entrée dishes, noodles, and desserts. There was also a large pot of hot tea available for guests to help themselves throughout the meal.
One of the things I appreciated most was that the dishes were flavorful without being overly spicy, allowing the spices and ingredients to shine through. We found it easy to enjoy a variety of dishes and leave feeling completely satisfied.
The buffet was also very reasonably priced, making it an excellent value. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, Curry and Kabob is an easy choice to become a regular go-to restaurant for delicious Indian cuisine.
Curry and Kabob
Tucked into Wilde Lake Village Center in Columbia, Curry & Kabob is truly a neighborhood gem—I only wish I had discovered it sooner. You’ll find it toward the far end of the plaza (near The Bagel Bin and neighboring shops), with free parking just a short walk away.
Inside, the space is modest in size but thoughtfully arranged. Seating feels comfortable without being cramped, and the décor leans simple and clean—warm wood tones, minimal accents, and an overall relaxed vibe that lets the food take center stage.
The menu features Indo-Nepalese cuisine, and this is where they really shine. Our group sampled a variety of dishes, each customized to our preferred spice levels—and every one of them was spot on. The Nepal dish of Chicken Momo dumplings completely filled the dish and I was too slow in grabbing an immediate pic but it was shared among 4 of us.The sauces were rich, layered, and full of flavor. I also have to say their Garlic naan bread was one of the most delicious I have tasted in the many versions of naan bread I have eaten. Light, chewy but still tender and full of bits of garlic that almost melted in my mouth, truly tasted freshly made.
Portions are generous, and I’ll admit I didn’t mind having leftovers…especially since mine disappeared later that same day without hesitation.
Service was warm and attentive, adding to an already enjoyable experience.
They also offer a weekend lunch buffet (Friday through Sunday) at a reasonable price, which is definitely on my list for a return visit. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, this is a spot worth keeping in rotation if you’re craving bold, comforting flavors. I will definitely return to try more of their selections.

If you haven't tried this place yet, you definitely need to! I place an order over the phone for the lamb curry and garlic naan. The lady on the phone was kind enough to make sure that she scheduled my order to be ready for when I got to the restaurant so it wasn't sitting out. The lamb curry itself was delicious and tasted great paired with the rice it came with! The garlic naan was great, and I was surprised I got 4 pieces! My usual place back in Georgia only gave me 2, so you definitely get a lot of food for your dollar. I also appreciate how carefully everything was wrapped and packaged so that nothing spilled and everything stayed warm. I cannot recommend this place enough! Will be returning soon.

Wonderful Indian cuisine!
After moving to Maryland, we knew we had to find an Indian restaurant ASAP. We decided to try this place and were not disappointed!
Our go to is the Malai Kofta. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had.
The heat levels are perfect, when we ask for spicy, we get spicy!
It seems to be a popular take out spot as I never seen someone seated inside, but there is always other orders than my own. They are very fast and if you happen to arrive before your food is ready, they make sure you aren’t waiting too long.

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. The selection and quality of the food was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed our conversation with our server about Nepal. Prices were reasonable and parking was not hard to find. I give Curry & Kabob a thumbs up!
Update: We came back Dec. 28th for some carryout food and once again, my wife has been at Johns Hopkins for cancer treatment and was ready for Indian food again!
The service was very friendly and prompt, the food quality and quantity was excellent, and we were glad we made the stop 😊.

Great Indian/Nepali restaurant. Portions are large!! They’ve got a customizable spice range. I love spice and got regular spicy and it was a pleasant tingly level. Maybe I’ll go higher next time. My partner who can’t handle spice got mild and it was fine for him. I got the yellow lentil curry and he got the chicken and lamb kebob. Both were very delicious. Food came out timely and literally sizzling! We also got naan on the side. It was a bit too buttery for me… I’d ask for no butter next time.
